There will be a chance to enjoy a spring walk around the parish of Wetwang this coming Friday (17th March), organised by the council’s countryside access team. The walk will be led by Simon Parker and will pass the Sykes monument, covering around eight miles. Countryside access officer Bev Hylton said : “This will be a lovely spring walk if anyone fancies stretching their legs on St Patrick’s Day. “ Walkers should wear suitable clothing for the day’s weather conditions, and bring a packed lunch with drinks. Anybody interested should meet in the car park off the B1248, about one mile south of Wetwang, ready for a 10am start on Friday 17th March. Booking is essential – the walk costs £3 for adults, or £2 for adults over 60. Places can be booked by telephone on 01482 395320, or online at www.eastriding.gov.uk/events via MyDriffield https://mydriffield.co.uk/wetwang-walk-for-rambling-enthusiasts/Driffield Telephone wiring
